INTERNATIONAL. Airports Council International (ACI) World has named Justin Erbacci (pictured), former Chief Executive Officer of NEOM Airports and of Los Angeles World Airports, as its new Director General and CEO, effective from September.
He will succeed Luis Felipe de Oliveira, who late last year announced his decision to step down at the end of 2024.
ACI World has been The Moodie Davitt Report’s partner in The Trinity Forum since 2006.
Erbacci assumes responsibility for ACI on the global stage, executing policies formulated by the General Assembly and World Governing Board, and facilitating the expansion of its membership base. He will collaborate closely with ACI regions and stakeholders.
An ACI statement said: “As a collective body, we extend a heartfelt welcome to Justin Erbacci. We look forward to his leadership and the continued success of ACI World under his guidance.”

ACI World Chair Candace McGraw, also CEO of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, welcomed the appointment, stating: “Justin brings a unique blend of proven leadership, global aviation experience and strategic vision to ACI World. After an extensive global search, the Board and I are very pleased to welcome Justin to ACI World in his new role.

Luis Felipe de Oliveira said: “After four challenging yet fruitful years at ACI, I am delighted to pass the baton to our new Director General and CEO to continue the improvement and leadership of this fantastic organisation.
