VIETNAM. Lotte Duty Free has partnered with Dior to open a Dioriviera concept pop-up store at Da Nang International Airport.
The pop-up, open from 1 July to 30 September, is adorned with Toile de Jouy (considered the timeless signature of famed couturier Christian Dior) printed cloth.
The boutique’s chairs, pillows and even decorative animal statues are all covered by the fabric.
The ‘Diorriviera’ ambience is designed to evoke an endless summer featuring Dior perfume and makeup products.
Shoppers can experience a personal touch with name engraving on coasters and receive blotting paper and postcards featuring Dior design patterns.
Lotte Duty Free noted a strong resurgence in tourists and international flights to the city this year.
According to the Da Nang Statistics Department, international visitor numbers rose +20.7% year-on-year in the first four months of 2024 to 957,000.
“With policies to support tourism stimulation from the Da Nang government, the tourism industry in Danang is recovering, growing strongly and gradually becoming one of the key economic sectors making an important contribution to the development of this beautiful beach city,” the company said.
