Cartier debuts first Italian airport boutique at Rome Fiumicino
All roads lead to Rome as Cartier opens its first-ever Italian airport boutique at Fiumicino

ITALY. Luxury house Cartier has unveiled an elegant boutique at Rome Fiumicino Airport, its first store within an Italian gateway.

The store opened on 1 June in collaboration with Italian multi-brand luxury jewellery and watch retail concept ROCCA.

The Terminal 3 boutique offers Cartier’s full range of creations including jewellery, timepieces, leathergoods, fragrances and accessories.

The opening represents the latest chapter in the maison’s rich history in Italy, which started with its debut in Milan 50 years ago.

The store is informed by Cartier’s distinctive blend of tradition and innovation and features timeless design elements lifted from Roman architecture.

The façade channels the elegance of ancient Roman marble columns, matched with Cartier’s signature champagne-gold colour palette.

Inside, neutral and cream-ivory hues are enhanced with vibrant red accents. Marble flooring, angular columns, arches and muted geometric wall patterns pay homage to Rome’s rich architectural style and diverse historical influences.

Elegant chandeliers light the space while a striking mural portrays Cartier’s panther emblem alongside the Roman Colosseum, one of the city’s most revered cultural landmarks. The mural is painted in warm shades of cardinal red and yellow.

A private salon, inspired by Italian gardens, gives travellers the chance to enjoy Cartier’s luxury services in a private setting. It is designed with lush green elements that evoke a sense of tranquillity.

Cartier Global Travel Retail Director Virginie Martignac commented: “The inaugural Cartier airport boutique in Italy, made possible through our partnership with ROCCA, marks an exciting addition to our extensive boutique portfolio across major European airports.

“Rome is a dynamic and unmissable travel destination, and the boutique is carefully curated with the needs of travellers in mind. We hope that our newly opened boutique at Rome Fiumicino Airport will foster meaningful conversations with travellers and build long-lasting relationships for those exploring Europe and nearby destinations.”

“We are delighted to partner with Cartier on its first airport boutique in Italy, as we both share a common vision to bring the most memorable and highly curated shopping experience for luxury and jewellery enthusiasts,” added ROCCA Retail Sales and Marketing Director Fabrizio Giaccon.

“Dedication and a strong service culture have always been the cornerstones of ROCCA ever since it was founded, with outstanding customer care that translates into excellent pre-sale and after-sales assistance. For this reason, we not only celebrate a new prestigious opening, but above all the relationship between two brands that becomes stronger year after year.” ✈
